Welcome to my digital teaching portfolio! My name is Heather Mabery and I am seeking employment as an elementary school teacher. I have created this portfolio to convey my both my beliefs on education as well as my professional development thus far. In order to do so, I have included information about myself, my current teaching philosophy, and artifacts aimed at helping define my teaching style and the variety of techniques I choose to utilize in the classroom in effort to promote an optimal learning environment for all students. In addition, I sincerely hope the reader will gain a strong sense of my passion and enthusiasm for teaching. As time passes, I plan to continue utilizing this portfolio as a means to document my evolution as an educator and continually reflect on where I have been and need to go to serve my students to the best of my abilities.
